Agentic Ads

Fix what AI says
about your brand.

AI agents read daily.dev at scale and answer questions about your category from what they find. Agent Ads put a labeled block of your cited, verifiable facts into that reading, then measure whether the answers changed.

Find the gap

How AI describes you today, graded against the story you pay to tell.

Cited facts only

Every claim sourced to material you approved, disclosed in the first line.

Served in real time

Inserted on daily.dev, on our domain. Change a fact and agents get it.

Measured, then re-measured

The same scores re-run after launch, reported at 95% confidence.

"Agents build answers from what they read. Right now, most of what they read about you is not yours."

Two audiences

Humans read your page. Agents read your facts.

You have not lost the human. You have gained a second reader alongside them. Humans respond to layout, imagery, and story. Agents strip the JavaScript, parse the HTML, and reduce the page to structured text, then build an answer from what they read. Both are worth reaching, and they need different things from you.

01

Someone asks

A developer asks an AI assistant a question in your category.

02

The agent reads

It fetches pages, strips them to text, and assembles an answer from what it finds.

03

Your facts are in the reading

Labeled, cited, and current, available when the question calls for them.

Measurement across more than 63,000 citations from 170 brand studies, run by our agent-advertising partner, found that 79% of the sources AI cites about a brand are domains the brand does not own.

Before you spend

Find the gap between your story and AI's story.

The positioning you pay to communicate is scored against the narrative AI engines actually produce, pillar by pillar, across the major engines and hundreds of cited URLs. Some pillars carry across. Some do not. The spread is the brief: your Agent Ad is written specifically against the claims that are not getting through, rather than restating the ones that already are.

The creative

A reference document, not a banner.

The Agent Ad is the entire creative unit: sponsor labeling, a definition of your brand, sourced facts, an FAQ, and a structured-data block for agents that prefer it. It ships in two renditions at one stable link.

Machine-readable

The markdown file

The production asset. This is what agents read, and this is what you formally approve. Served as markdown or slim HTML, whichever the agent asks for.

Human-readable

The branded PDF

The same content, formatted so your team can review it in something familiar. It exists for sign-off only and is never served to an agent.

Every claim carries a source. Change a fact and agents get the update in real time, with no re-trafficking and no new creative round.

Ad serving

Inserted in real time, on our domain.

Verified agents are identified at our edge and served the agent-readable rendition with your approved ad already in it. Everything else follows our existing logic, untouched.

  1. 01

    Agent arrives

GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and others on the approved registry.

  2. 02

    Checked at the CDN

The request is matched against the agent registry daily.dev controls.

  3. 03

    Convert and insert

The page is fetched from origin, converted to markdown or slim HTML, and your approved ad is inserted.

  4. 04

    Served inline

Returned on daily.dev, the only domain the agent ever sees. The canonical reference stays our URL.

Agent Outcomes

Did the answers change? We test it.

Delivery and influence are reported as two different things, on purpose. Delivery is what we can prove: which verified agent read which page, and where your ad rendered. Influence is a controlled test — the same agreed prompts run across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude from before launch onward, scoring Visibility, Favorability, and Accuracy. Movement counts as a result only above a 95% confidence threshold. Below it, we report no significant change.

What we see most

Three gaps, and what closes them.

Measurement gives you a specific, scored gap. The Agent Ad is built to close it.

Gap / Visibility

You do not show up

When agents answer questions in your category, your brand may not come up at all, and competitors fill the space.

The fix

Put your facts on the pages agents read when they research your category.

Gap / Favorability

The narrative is not yours

What AI says about you is assembled from sources you do not control, and the story you tell in paid media never reaches the agent at all.

The fix

Give agents an attributed, current statement of what your brand stands for.

Gap / Accuracy

AI gets your facts wrong

If nothing an agent can verify is published where it reads, it repeats whatever the rest of the web says about your pricing, limits, and availability.

The fix

Publish cited, verifiable facts, and watch Accuracy move in the next report.

Why advertisers buy this

Reach you cannot buy back later

Agents already read daily.dev at scale, and that reading is shaping answers about your category today, whether or not your facts are in it.

Your claims, not the internet's

An attributed, current statement of what you actually offer, sourced to material you approved, sitting where the answer gets assembled.

Correct it once, everywhere

Change a fact and agents get the update in real time. No re-trafficking, no new creative round, no waiting for a crawl.

Labeled, never disguised

Sponsor disclosure in the first line, a citation on every claim, and no hidden instructions to the agent. Editorial is never touched.

Tested, not asserted

Randomized paired tests isolate the effect of the ad itself, and outcome movement is only reported above a 95% confidence threshold.

You control the registry

Which agents are in scope is an approved list daily.dev owns, and it can change at any time without disrupting anything else.

Process

How a campaign runs

Five stages, from brand brief to measured outcome, with your approval gate at stage three.

01

Brand brief

Your target persona, creative narrative, and message pillars are distilled from your own paid media and source materials. That becomes the baseline every later measurement is scored against.

02

AI Visibility + VFA

The leading AI engines are asked the questions your customers ask, and the answers are graded on Visibility, Favorability, and Accuracy. Hundreds of URLs and citations are scored against each pillar.

03

Agent Ad + Agent Page

The ad is drafted as a reference document of cited facts, written against the gaps the analysis found. You review the human-readable version and approve it before anything runs.

04

Ad serving

Verified agents are identified at the CDN and served the agent-readable rendition with your approved ad inserted, inline on daily.dev. Every other request follows our existing logic untouched.

05

Agent Outcomes

Exposures are logged by agent and by URL, and the same VFA scores are re-run on your focus area. Findings feed back into the creative, and the loop repeats.

The rules

What we will not do.

  • Run an ad that is not clearly labeled as sponsored, with your brand named as the source.
  • Publish a claim without a citation back to source material you approved.
  • Put hidden instructions in front of an agent. The block is facts, never directives.
  • Rewrite, blend into, or touch daily.dev editorial content.
  • Run creative you have not signed off on.
  • Report normal variance in AI answers as if it were campaign lift.
Where this is today

Agentic Ads is in alpha. We would rather you know that now.

Campaigns are live and the format works. Inventory, targeting depth, and reporting are still expanding, and slots are limited. Alpha advertisers get early pricing, a direct line to the team, and real influence over what ships next.

It is built to sit on top of an existing buy, not to replace one. Keep In-Feed Ads or Sponsored Content running, add Agentic Ads alongside them, and compare what each surface returns.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently Asked Questions

A clearly labeled block of verifiable, cited facts about your brand, written in a machine-readable format and inserted into the version of a daily.dev page that AI agents read. Every ad discloses its sponsor in the first line and attributes each fact to a source.

A daily.dev page converted into clean markdown or slim HTML for agent consumption. AI agents already request our pages at scale. Agent Pages serve them a version built for how they read, while preserving our editorial content and the same URL. Agent Ads are inserted into those pages when eligible.

When someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, or Claude a question, the system reads the web and returns an answer that shapes what that person explores or buys next. Most of what it cites is not yours: measurement across more than 63,000 citations from 170 brand studies, run by our agent-advertising partner, found that 79% of the sources AI cites about a brand are domains the brand does not own. Agent Ads give agents access to current, accurate, attributed facts from you.

It is generated from advertiser-approved and publicly available source material — your website, product information, and paid-media creative — to understand how you want to show up. That narrative is compared with your Visibility, Favorability, and Accuracy scores, the relevant gaps are identified, and verifiable, cited facts are written against them. You review and approve the ad before launch. daily.dev retains approval over what runs on our pages.

Every Agent Ad is delivered in two renditions at a stable link: a machine-readable markdown file, which is the production asset agents read, and a branded PDF containing the same content in human-readable form. The PDF exists for review and approval only. It is never served to an agent. What you formally approve is the markdown file.

Yes. Disclosure appears in the first line of every Agent Ad, naming the sponsor and identifying the sponsor as the source of the material. Each fact carries a source citation. The block is kept labeled and distinct from daily.dev editorial, which is never rewritten or blended.

No. Agent Ads contain no hidden instructions. They are labeled blocks of attributed brand facts. Our editorial content stays intact and distinct, and factual accuracy is measured as part of campaign reporting.

The approved registry can include major LLM training and inference crawlers, large-technology AI crawlers, AI search and answer engines, AI assistants performing live fetches, and AI data and retrieval-augmented-generation crawlers. It excludes adtech and contextual crawlers, SEO tools, web archivers, uptime and security monitoring, feed readers and social apps, PR and media monitoring, generic scraper libraries, and traditional search-engine crawlers. daily.dev approves and controls the registry, and agents can be added or removed without disrupting anything else.

An Agent Impression is recorded when an Agent Ad is rendered in the response delivered to a verified AI agent. Reporting covers delivery by agent, by campaign, and by page or URL.

No, and nobody honestly can. We can confirm the ad was rendered in the response and report which verified agent requested which page. An agent's internal reasoning cannot be inspected. That is exactly why campaign influence is measured separately, through a controlled test rather than an attribution claim bolted onto delivery numbers.

Two ways. Causal Ad Lift runs randomized paired tests using two versions of a real daily.dev page, identical except that one contains the Agent Ad. After reading one version, an AI assistant is asked a campaign question without live web search, so the ad is the only informational difference between the groups. Model Impact repeatedly tests an agreed prompt set across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude, scoring whether you appear, how favorably, and whether the facts are right. Testing starts before launch to set a baseline and continues throughout.

It is labeled that way rather than reported as a meaningful change. AI responses naturally vary, so measured movement is distinguished from normal variation, and the confidence associated with each outcome is reported. Movement counts as an outcome only above a 95% confidence threshold.

At minimum, you review and approve the Agent Ad. You can also provide a brand overview, approved source materials, and the priority questions or prompts that matter most to you. If you do not provide prompts, a proposed prompt set is generated for your approval.

Yes. Targeting is contextual, configured using sections, topics, article types, individual URLs, and other daily.dev metadata, with persona targeting available.

It is in alpha. Campaigns are live and the format works, but inventory, targeting depth, and reporting are still expanding, and slots are limited. Alpha advertisers get early pricing and direct input on what ships next. It is designed to sit on top of an existing daily.dev buy, so the usual way in is to keep In-Feed Ads or Sponsored Content running and add Agentic Ads alongside them.
